INVITATION TO BID UNDER OPEN DOMESTIC BIDDING
Soroti Fruits Limited (SOFTE) a subsidiary of Uganda Development Corporation (UDC) is a Government Development Initiative which adds value to the locally grown orange and mango fruits which are used in the production of Teju Ready to Drink Juices, Teju Orange Concentrates and Teju Mango Pulp.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
- SOFTE invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Construction of a multi-purpose warehouse
- Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open Domestic Bidding (ODB) method contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003.
- Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below during office hours from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- The Bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 300,000 (Uganda shillings three hundred thousand only). The method of payment will be either by cash or deposit in the bank account (contact the address above for bank account details) and obtain receipt/proof of payment. The bidding document may thereafter be collected from the Head Procurement and Disposal Unit (PDU), upon presentation of a receipt.
- Applications should be submitted in sealed envelopes clearly marked “Tender for the Construction of a multi-purpose warehouse ” and clearly addressed to the Head of Procurement and Disposal Unit, Soroti Fruits Limited. P.O. Box 154, Soroti.
- All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of UGX 10,000,000 (Ten Million Shillings only) In form of a Bank guarantee.
- Soroti Fruits Limited reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and is not bound by either the lowest or highest bidder.
